Griffin makes it twice in a year!
Matthew Griffin has added to the BannLynch victory tally this weekend, taking out his second OneAsia title in less than a year – SK Telecom Open. What makes this victory even more extraordinary is that Griffin didn’t even need to hit a shot in the final round – it was called off due to thick fog at Pinx Golf Club on Korea’s Jeju Island. The stage was set on Saturday afternoon when Griffin holed a monster 15 metre putt from off the back of the 18th green, giving him a one-shot overnight lead which led him to victory when round 4 was abandoned. Griffin’s coach Denis McDade was all set for another Sunday thriller, and the news couldn’t have been better! For the full story, footage and results visit ww.pga.org.au
